David J. Martindale
Mr. Martindale is a financial and administrative executive with 40 years of diversified experience in small, medium and large businesses. His direct responsibility has included accounting, finance, administration, strategic planning, construction and facilities management, contracts and litigation management. Because of his long and varied business experience, Mr. Martindale is able to provide valuable insight into client challenges and opportunities. He earned an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
For the past 6 years, Mr. Martindale has applied his experience to the formation and growth of Coastal Accounting Professionals, LLC, an accounting practice primarily centered on small businesses in Wilmington and the surrounding areas. Coastal Accounting Professionals offers services in the areas of financial consulting, accounting system implementation and consulting (emphasis on QuickBooks and Peachtree), general accounting, tax return preparation and tax planning. Mr. Martindale works closely with Webb & Graves, PLLC, a law firm specializing in the areas of Estate Planning, Asset Protection, Tax Controversy and Real Estate. Many of Coastal Accounting Professionals’ clients are also clients of Webb & Graves.
Mr. Martindale and his wife Lynn have four married children and seven grandchildren. The Martindales enjoy living at their house in Porters Neck. Mr. Martindale is active in his church (Grace Baptist Church) and also serves on the boards of three non-profits. In addition to spending time with family, Mr. Martindale enjoys working around the house and traveling.
